Pandemic has hit hard on every one of us. Institutes started operating in online mode. Almost every institute out there is conducting online classes now. It’s been a year, we are attending these online classes and still many of us aren’t fully adapted to this new normal. Have you ever forgotten to attend an online class? Features
Timetable Manager
Sched lets you save the class timetable and manage it with ease. It has an aesthetic UI design and provides much-needed, useful functionality. The home screen greets you with the schedule for the day. So you don’t have to remember which day is today and scan the timetable for the same. Sched helps you save not only the class timings, but also information such as type of class (lecture, tutorial, practical, etc.), faculty name, and course code. You get direct buttons to join the class meeting scheduled for today or open Google Classroom to check your assignments right from your home screen. Isn’t it amazing and simple at the same time!
Class Reminders
And don't worry about the reminders part. Sched manages those as well. You can set reminders and join the classes directly from notifications received without even opening the app! Just add class details and timings for different days throughout the week. Sched will automatically schedule the reminders and remind you before a specified period of time. This feature can further be boosted by setting up the caller ringtone as the default notification sound for the Sched app. Now it's like getting a call as a reminder to join the class. This feature is customizable as well. Just specify the “Remind before” time in minutes for example X minutes and get notified before prior X minutes to the class. Finally, we can concentrate on other stuff without worrying about the online class timetable.
Link Sharing
The list of features is not finished yet! I know many of us prefer laptops over phones for attending online classes. How can we join a class on a laptop with an android app then? Simple….use the Sched website for Link Transfer. I have also developed a website to transfer links from your phone to the PC. Log on to Sched Web Version with your mobile number and attend classes on a laptop from your android app seamlessly. The bonus feature is, this link sharing works from anywhere on your phone. Whether the links are stored in your Notes app or someone has shared them over WhatsApp or any other messaging app, just open the link and choose “Open on PC” from the app chooser. Voila! The link will be opened on your PC browser. Last but not least, it has a cool Dark Mode.

I am working on the attendance feature right now which will be rolled out soon. Also, I am expanding the supported meeting softwares like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.
